Please consider joining our nominating committee for the 2023-2024 PTSA board. Details below. Hope you can join us for a recap of the Community Conversation around Sexual Harassment in Middle Schools.

The charge of the nominating committee is to recognize and recruit the most qualified people available for elected PTA positions as defined by the local PTA or council standing rules. The members of the nominating committee have a tremendous influence on the future of the local PTA or council, making it the most important committee in PTA. A well-established process for identifying and nominating qualified people to step into leadership positions will ensure success for many years into the future.
The PTSA President and EMS Principal can not serve on the nominating committee.



Please join us this Monday February 6th for a Community Conversation about Sexual Harassment in Middle Schools.

Presenters will include Seattle School Board members Chandra Hampson, Liza Rankin and Luna Crone-Baron, as well as SPS Health Educator Lisa Love.          
Topics will include Seattle Public Schools Policy, FLASH curriculum, and How Families, Schools and Communities can partner to raise awareness of and prevent sexual harassment on campus.          
If you have a question you would like addressed in the conversation, please email it to president@ecksteineaglesptsa.org by Friday at 6 PM. There will be a brief Q and A period following the presentations.     
Families can attend in person at Eckstein Middle School auditorium or by zoom. In person attendees can register here:
